MEET THE CHAIRMAN
PHILIP CUTTER
Phil has been engaged in the licensed trade business for over 30 years. His multi-award winning pub, the Murderers Arms, in Norwich, frequently holds cask ale festivals with over 60 beers on straight from the cask. Sporting events and jazz nights appeal to a wide variety of customers.
Despite an incredibly busy working week, Phil still sets time aside to promote the City of Ale. He hosts the regular open meetings where he provides the best bacon butties in town (vegetarian alternatives are available). Phil says he likes to "share the love" with all the City of Ale pubs and local brewers. He's a pub hero and he's got a statue to prove it.
