Sponsors

Norwich City of Ale is grateful to all its sponsors without whom the whole shebang would not be possible.

Norwich BID

Norwich BID

Established in November 2012 the Norwich Business Improvement District (BID) is run for local businesses by local businesses. It is a simple and tried and tested way of increasing economic prosperity for companies of all sizes through collaboration. The BID covers a defined area of Norwich where businesses plan how to improve their trading environment, identifying additional projects and services that develop the city centre and trade. Investment in the BID area aims to enhance and promote the local environment for businesses, employees and customers.

We are proud to be sponsoring Norwich City of Ale which helps promote the celebration of city pubs, local breweries and real ale throughout Norwich city centre which slots very well into the major festivals in the City. This festival helps the leisure sector increase customer and visitor numbers whilst growing the overall vibrancy of the city as a destination and keeping Norwich as the nationally recognised city of ale.

Crisp Malting Group

Crisp Malting Group

With its fertile soils, ideal climate, and generations of skilled farmers, Norfolk produces what is considered by many to be the best quality malting barley in the world. It is therefore not surprising that Crisp Malting have, since 1870 been located in the heart of this great barley-growing region, supplying the needs of many of the finest breweries in Norfolk and beyond.

The combination of our wealth of malting experience and the fine barley allows us to produce a full range of quality ale, lager, distilling and special malts to supply to many of our fantastic local craft ale-brewers – as well as brewers and distillers of all shapes and sizes from around the country and further afield.

It is wonderful to see the emergence of so many exciting new breweries in the region, bringing with them the renewed interest in real ale and we are delighted to be sponsoring Norwich City of Ale! This event sets the city and the region right at the top of Britain’s brewing and beer heritage and over the course of the 10 day celebration we’ll be raising our glasses (more than a few times!) to Norwich City of Ale and all the brewers and pubs that make it possible. Cheers!
